Nine word families are included in this set. They are:
- -an family
- -at family
- -ed family
- -en family
- -ip family
- -it family
- -og family
- -op family
- -ug family
With each worksheet, students move a letter slider to create new words. They sound out the word, read it, find the corresponding picture, and then write the word. (Note: Each word family includes 4-6 words/pictures. The “ug” word family also has an additional activity on the worksheet since there are only four corresponding words/pictures).
